Lorcana

Lorcana players—this one’s big.
The next chapter of Disney Lorcana has officially been revealed, and it’s changing the game (literally).

Set 9: Fabled lands on September 5, 2025, and it’s bringing some major updates:

New Rarity Levels:
Two new rarities join the mix—Iconic (super limited, only two per set!) and Epic, which sits between Rare and Enchanted in both appearance and pull rate. Expect premium artwork and foil treatments.

Rotation is Coming:
For the first time, Lorcana’s Core Constructed format will rotate out sets 1–4. That means they’re leaving standard play—but not gone forever. Those cards will still be legal in the new Infinity Constructed format, built for players who want to keep using their full collection.

Reprints are in Play:
Some of the most beloved early cards are making a comeback, including a few in Enchanted form.

But that’s not all…

Before Fabled drops, Set 8: Reign of Jafar arrives June 6—with pre-release events starting May 30. New character cards like Jasmine – Steady Strategist and Rapunzel – High Climber make their debut, and a new co-op mode called Illumineer’s Quest: Palace Heist lets you and your squad face off against Jafar and his crew.

Competitive Scene Update:
Ravensburger is investing big into organized play—including a new Seattle office and the first-ever Lorcana World Championship on June 28–29. The top 28 players will battle it out, and you can catch it live on Twitch.
