What Cards are in Amazing Defenders? 

Alright, let's talk cards! When you crack open an Amazing Defenders booster pack, you're in for a treat. You'll find 7 cards per pack, including one Super Rare or Ultra Rare and six Rare cards. But that's not all, folks! There is also hidden 15 Collector's Rare variants in the main set. It's like a treasure hunt but with way cooler prizes.

Now, let's talk about reprints. Amazing Defenders will include a selection of crucial reprints as well. If you missed out on any of these reprints in the past, Amazing Defenders has you covered!

Themes in Amazing Defenders

Now, let's talk about the themes in Amazing Defenders. Like other deck build packs, you'll find three brand-new themes: Rescue-ACE, Purrely, and Mikanko. Each theme has its own unique features and strategies, making them exciting to play with and collect.

Rescue-ACE

The Rescue-ACE theme is a firefighting force to be reckoned with! This Fire and Warrior/Machine theme features a crew of firefighters and their powerful fire engines, ready to extinguish any opponent's moves. With the ability to summon another Rescue-ACE via Quick Effect in response to your opponent's action, these Warrior monsters are a formidable addition to any deck. For example, you can tribute Rescue-ACE Air Hoister from the hand or field to summon a Rescue-ACE from your hand, when your opponent activates a monster effect. But don't sleep on Rescue-ACE Hydrant! It's the key to unlocking the bonus effects of the theme's spells and traps.

Purrely

Get ready to evolve your game with the Purrely theme! This theme is built entirely around the adorable Purrely, think of it like Eevee from Pokemon but cuter. With the ability to evolve into three different Xyz monsters, like Epurrely Beauty, by revealing the corresponding Quick-Play Spell in your hand, you'll have a formidable team of monsters at your disposal. For example, to summon the stunning Epurrely Beauty, you'll need to reveal and attach Purrely Pretty Memory. Not only will this monster gain bonus effects while it has the specific spell attached as a material, but you can also upgrade them further to the deck's two boss monsters: Expurrely Happiness and Expurrely Noir. With Purrely, your opponents will never know what hit them!

Mikanko

Get ready to take control of the game with the Mikanko theme! This Ritual theme may only have three Main Deck monsters in Amazing Defenders but don't let that fool you. Hare the Sword Mikano and Nini the Mirror Mikanko use the deck's powerful Equip Spells to manipulate your opponent's monsters, giving you an edge in any duel. Both Nini and Inviting Rondo of the Mikanko let you take control of your opponent's monsters and with Ohime the Manifested Mikanko as the deck's boss monster, you'll be able to take control of your opponent's monsters even during their turn. Mikanko may be a challenging deck to play with so few Main Deck monsters and no Extra Deck monsters, but trust us, it's a challenge that will be worth it in the end. So, put on your game face and get ready to dominate the competition!

It's worth mentioning that each theme in Amazing Defenders will have more support coming later in 2023 in Cyberstorm Access. This means that players will be able to continue building and strengthening their decks with new cards and strategies.
